About Us

Building the tools that
define Wi-Fi testing.

Candela Technologies was founded in 2000 by Ben Greear, a network engineer with a clear vision: give Wi-Fi developers the tools to test their products the right way — with real hardware, real traffic, and real results.

What started as a small engineering effort in Ferndale, Washington grew into the industry's most trusted name in wireless test and measurement. Over two decades, Candela has built platforms used by the world's leading chipset vendors, OEMs, and certification labs to validate everything from consumer routers to enterprise-grade mesh networks.

Today, with offices in the US and across India, Candela Technologies continues to lead — shipping the first fully automated TR-398 Issue 4 testbeds, supporting Wi-Fi 7's Multi-Link Operation, and pushing the boundaries of what automated network testing can do.
