Privacy policy

We only collect information you actively give us. Specifically:

• Contact form: your email address and the contents of the message you send.
• Careers form: name, email, phone, location, university, graduation year, links to your portfolio and resume, availability, the Wi-Fi skills you self-select, and your written response.
• Direct emails: anything you choose to send to support@candelatech.com, sales@candelatech.com, or careers@candelatech.com.

We do not place advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

The information you submit is used to:

• Reply to your enquiry, demo request or support question.
• Evaluate your application for an internship or open role and coordinate next steps.
• Improve our products and documentation when you tell us what is and isn't working for your testing setup.

We do not use submissions for marketing automation. If we ever start sending product updates, you will be asked to opt in explicitly.

To run candelatech.com we rely on a small number of vendors. They process the data you submit only on our behalf:

• Resend — delivers form submissions (contact and careers) to our internal email inboxes. Your form contents transit Resend on their way to us.
• Supabase — hosts the public asset storage that serves PDFs, images and videos referenced from this site. Static asset requests are logged by Supabase as part of normal CDN operation.
• Vercel (or our chosen Next.js host) — serves the site itself. Standard server logs (IP, request URL, user-agent, timestamp) are retained for short periods for security and uptime monitoring.
• Google Maps — embeds office locations on our About page. Their privacy terms apply when those embeds load.

The site itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded third-party content (e.g. YouTube videos on the Videos page, Google Maps embeds on About) may set their own cookies when those components load. You can block these via your browser settings; the rest of the site will continue to work.

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as the conversation is active, plus a reasonable archival period (typically up to 24 months) for follow-up.

Career applications are retained for the duration of the hiring process. If we don't move forward, we keep your application on file for up to 12 months in case a relevant role opens — write to us if you'd like it removed sooner.

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted to Resend over TLS and forwarded to our internal email. Internal access to applications is restricted to staff involved in hiring or customer support.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe a vulnerability exists on candelatech.com, please email support@candelatech.com and we'll investigate promptly.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information you've shared with us, and to withdraw any consent you previously gave.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@candelatech.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We aim to respond within 30 days.

This site is intended for engineers, students and professionals working in wireless networking. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or services change. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated where practical.
