5-stack RF chamber configuration with central 2D turntable.

The CT840c-stack5 builds on our integrated stacked-chamber lineage (CT840a-stack4 / CT840b-stack4) with a five-chamber configuration: a large central DUT chamber on a programmable 2D turntable, multiple medium chambers above for mesh extenders / clients, and a base compartment for LANforge test equipment. The result is a single integrated rack-and-roll testbed for TR-398 automated runs, mesh topology validation and roaming tests — all wired together from the factory and LANforge-controlled end to end.

RF & Network Interfaces

  • 16+ filtered SMA ports (32 on the larger 'b' chambers).
  • 3× filtered 10 GbE Ethernet pass-throughs per chamber.
  • USB-A 3.0, USB-A 2.0 (optional) and USB-C pass-throughs.
  • Optional 4K HDMI, RF Coax (Type-F) and FC fiber filtered ports.
  • Universal A/C power strip inside every chamber.

Frequency & Isolation

  • Designed for 800 MHz – 8 GHz operation, optimised for the 2-6 GHz Wi-Fi range.
  • 'a'-series: ≥70 dB RF isolation (most affordable; great for everyday Wi-Fi work).
  • 'ss' stack chambers: ≥80 dB RF isolation (mid-tier).
  • 'b'-series: ≥90 dB RF isolation (full Wi-Fi isolation even with all RF filters in use).
  • RF-absorbing internal lining: ≥4.5 dB at 2.4 GHz, ≥10 dB at 5 GHz on 'a' models; ≥18 dB across 1.3-18 GHz on 'b' models.

Automation & Integration

  • Programmable 2D turntable (and 3D positioner option) on larger chambers — driven directly from LANforge.
  • API-controlled fan and door / light switches on supported models.
  • Integrated LED lighting and an internal camera on Large and Stack chambers.
